I saw a crocodile

Sitting on a train aisle

And reading a blue file

While going the last mile

And suddenly it turned into a

GIGANTIC muddy pile

Oh! Was it an alien ….

All this while?

I’m a failure.

So don’t try to convince me that

I can do anything I want,

Because at the end of the day

I am what I am.

 

And I’m not going to lie to myself by saying

There is intelligence inside of me.

So rest assured I will remind myself

That I am dumb and witless,

And nothing you say will make me believe

I’m a success.

 

Because no matter what I do

I am not good enough,

And I am in no position to believe that

Intelligence does exist within me.

Because whenever I look at my grades I always think

Am I as dumb as people say?
